You think you’re going to need mediation or go to court on some complicated issues, but still want to keep costs low and do as much as possible on your own.
What Do I Get?
Everything in “Help Me Do It” Plus:
1. Get detailed feedback on all of the documents you want to submit to the court or the other person.
2. Have an attorney explain how to file documents with the court and explain the nuts and bolts of the court system as you go.
3. Two additional coaching sessions to prepare you for mediation and going to court (if necessary)
4. As needed email, phone, or virtual meeting support throughout your case.

The other person has an attorney. You want an attorney to draft your documents and communicate with the other person or their attorney. There are complicated financial or custody issues in your case. You want an attorney to negotiate a settlement for you.
What Do I Get?
Everything in “Prepare Me For It” Plus:
1. We draft your documents. All you need to do is file them with the court.
2. We go to mediation together.
3. We communicate with the other person or their attorney and attempt to reach a settlement.

A name change is included when you get divorced…you just need to ask. It gets more complicated after that. Each county in Colorado has a slightly different process. Civil Protection Order
A civil protection order, also known as a restraining order, is a legal document issued by a court that aims to protect individuals from domestic violence, harassment, stalking, or threats. It sets certain restrictions and prohibitions on the person against whom the order is issued, referred to as the respondent. Law enforcement officer are required to make reasonable efforts to enforce protection orders.
